We believe in the body and mind's natural ability to heal and maintain a state of wellbeing. Our approach blends time-honored ancient wisdom with cutting-edge insights in health and wellness.
Your acupuncture journey begins with an initial assessment and treatment during which acupuncturist Jenny Providence will use diagnostic techniques including asking questions, viewing your tongue and reading your pulses. She will develop a treatment plan to address your health concerns. Treatments last about an hour and may include acupuncture along with other techniques to best meet your needs Including moxibustion, cupping, gua sha, tuina, craniosacral, and recommendations regarding nutrition herbs and supplements and lifestyle.
Massage therapy is a hands-on, relaxing and therapeutic modality. The focus of a treatment is to release muscle tension and relax body and mind to allow for healing and recovery. Treatments can be full-body or focusing on one or two problem areas. Massage is usually received with most of your clothing off while you're securely draped with a sheet.
Reflexology addresses the entire body by working exclusively on the feet. By breaking up restrictions in the feet, the corresponding part of the body receives improved blood flow and comfort.
Craniosacral therapy is a hands-on modality involving light touch, often on the head but can be anywhere on the body. The aim is to optimize the subtle fluid movements of the bones and soft tissues. Receiving craniosacral therapy is deeply relaxing. It can be a stand-alone treatment or craniosacral can be incorporated into massage or acupuncture.
Tuina is the massage component of Chinese Medicine and is generally received fully clothed, however some clothing may need to be moved or removed if cupping is to be integrated into the treatment. Tuina and cupping help to release muscle tension and clear toxins from the muscles. You will discuss your desired therapeutic outcome with your practitioner before your treatment
Acu-Detox involves the stimulation of 5 specific points on the ear that support detoxification, recovery from substance abuse, and trauma.
The benefits of sauna use have been well-documented. Pain, muscle tension, fertility, cardiovascular conditions, and detoxification are a few of the issues that regular sauna use has been shown to benefit.
We recommend strength-building vigorous activity as a cornerstone of vibrant health. The coaches at Wildcat CrossFit will support and celebrate your fitness journey.

Consider what you would like addressed. Acupuncture can address most pain and health concerns. Massage and Tuina address muscular pain and tension. Acu-detox is great for recovery from trauma or addiction and provides a powerful reset in a short treatment time. Foot reflexology is also a shorter treatment that addresses the whole body.
Wildcat CrossFit and Flow are both owned by Jenny and Noah Providence, a dynamic duo who have been supporting health and wellness in Tucson since 1998. Together, Wildcat and Flow support multiple facets of Tucson's health and well-being.
While massage and tuina are both relaxing, therapeutic modalities, the focus of massage is on releasing tension in the muscles and connective tissue, while the focus of tuina is on opening the flow of Qi in the channels. The two modalities feel similar. Tuina is received with clothing on, while massage is received with clothing off while being draped securing with a sheet.
The thought of having needles inserted into the skin is disconcerting for some. For most people, their concerns fade away as soon as the first needle is inserted. The needles are very fine, in most cases they have a smaller diameter to a human hair. For comparison, as many as 15 acupuncture needles can fit inside a needle that is used in the doctor’s office to draw blood. Acupuncture needles are solid, nothing is being injected into or drawn out of your body. And, if you are finding it difficult to get past the idea of needles, Chinese medicine has much more to offer and many ways to treat conditions that do not involve needles.
Yes! Children are treated differently than adults are with Chinese Medicine. Usually only one or two points are used in a treatment for a short duration, and only if the child is willing. Children of any age can be treated with acupuncture and herbs. Dosages are altered based on the size of the child.
